OK! yAll: Listen up! Im having a hard time. Youre having a hard time. Buffalo, NY; Palestine, Ferguson, MO, and Ebola- affected Africa are all having a hard time. Sea Stars, Polar Bears, lava flows, tar sands; hungry children, dying loved ones, marriages dissolving: sure seems like theres a whole lotta stuff going on. Wont you please, please, join me in standing up and dancing together, virtually, to celebrate the fact that were here, were alive, we can dance, move our bodies, sweat, and stretch. We have these wonderful devices that keep us connected to each other, (however strange and disconnecting as they also may be) and some truly blessed souls worked in very mysterious ways so that we can access this delightful music, made so long ago by such cool folks. Cmon! Dance like nobodys watching. Dance like we are all together! Dance like we all got white shoes, matching leisure suits, and awesome Afros.
