OKAY!! So heres what the Care Coordinator said!: They have to present Riedens case to University of Washington Medical Center for him to get approved for the living donor route, basically they just have to confirm to medicaid that he needs this. They will be in charge of all the donor cases. The hospital does not have anything to do with that area, it is all held confidential even from us unless that person wants to tell us, which most of you have already let us know your willing. But, THEY WILL ONLY EVALUATE ONE (1) DONOR AT A TIME. It has to be done at this medical place in Washington. The cost is all covered except for transportation. If you are from out of state and it comes to you being evaluated, you will have to buy your way here and consider housing and all that during the process (details can be worked out). It takes about a month and then theres a resting month before they actually do the procedure. Nate and I will be given opportunity first but whether its one of us or someone else, you have to consider all the risk involved. I will post what all to REALLY consider. Ummmm... yeah, so thats what they had to say. I think all this will be in effect by Monday. As for how long Rieden has, they cant tell. Its just a waiting game with his body. His health will continue to detoriarate by malnutrition, possible infections and possible bleeding inside due to his liver failing. They wil be doing all they can to maintain his health as best they can but even so, they cant stop it. Theres no telling how long, he could get an infection, a bleed out or whatever and go down hill fast or just maintain the fairly steady pace he has been. If anyone has anymore questions please comment below so others can see the response and not need to ask the same question maybe. Unless its personal, feel free to message me. Thank you all and we love you and God bless!
