OKIGWE ZONE 2015: AGUMBA ASSURE OF EFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION A stakeholder in Imo State and Okigwe zone respectively, Chief Barr. Francis Agumba Agu has hinted that his main aim of going to the red chambers of the National Assembly is to give effective and responsive representation to the people of Okigwe Zone. Chief Agumba who hails from Umuezeala Nsu in Ehime Mbano LGA, stated this, recently, while speaking on his 2015 senatorial bid. He noted that rendering services to the poor has always been his primary constituency, adding that Okigwe zone is the. worst hit in political representation from time immemorial Chief Agumba averred that he remains the best aspirant for Okigwe zone Senate} adding that those who are in the same race with him have no programme for the people. He pointed out that he has put machineries in place to bring development that would directly touch the lives of the indigent persons in the area. He further maintained that every son and daughter of Okigwe zone would be empowered to start their own businesses, adding that his representation would put happiness on the faces of the people. Chief Agumba noted that he would use his connection as an international lawyer to develop all the nook and crannies of Okigwe zone, adding that the people should give support based on track record and dedication to the service of humanity. He however stated that he would attract international investors in the area and would also build industries so that young graduates in Okigwe zone would be employed for societal growth. Adding his voice, an indigene of Okigwe zone and a social activist, Comrade Chibueze Ogoke described Chief Agumba Agu as a man of good wile who has done so much to empower the poor in the society. He noted that Chief Agumba has empowered over 90 percent of indigenes of Okigwe in both primary and tertiary education and called on all and sundry to support the project. Comrade Ogoke however encouraged the youths in the area to support Agumba for Senate in order to enjoy tomorrow. Chief Agumba Agu is a God fearing man. He has helped so many people through empowerment and has trained so many people in both primary, secondary and university education. He is the best for Okigwe zone Senate. He added.
