OKONJIMA AFRICAT CARNIVORE UPDATE 3: All the cheetahs are doing fine. PENTA is now moving in the north, eastern side of the park. She was recently seen in very, thick bush and is usually so far out, she is seldom found by the guides . . . mostly because there is no time to spend tracking her for hours – everyone is always in a rush to get back for breakfast or to leave for the next destination – it’s called the ‘Human Race’. However when guests stay for 3 days and more – then we take the time to spend looking for this elusive cheetah. PINS (her now, independent cub) who is always on the move, was seen a few times this week. Still a bit shy, you have to keep your distance, but she is doing great!
