. OLD HAGS SYNDROME?! this was taken from a Facebook page, it was a non Muslim page and this particular post had over 5,000 comments. Subhanallah how the jinns/shaitans are doing their jobs to misguide people! I will copy and paste a few comments from people from the page, if only they knew about Islam!!!............ Old Hag Syndrome is a terrifying sleep disorder that many people suffer from. Also known as sleep paralysis, sufferers often wake up in the middle of the night, unable to move or scream, but able to see, hear, feel and smell. It is often accompanied by strange smells, frightening sounds, apparitions of shadows or people, and a weight on the chest, making breathing difficult if not impossible. It is caused by the hormones, which keep us paralysed while we sleep and thus preventing us from acting out our dreams, not ceasing function immediately when you wake up. It usually only lasts up to a minute. Ive had this happen twice in my life and it is honestly the most horrifying thing that I have ever experienced. If youve experienced this, please share your experience! comments- I had this happen to me once years ago, it was sooooooo terrifying, I woke but couldnt move or speak, it was so unbeleiveable, my mind was racing trying to figure what to do, I couldnt move or yell for help, I was asleep on a sofa, I am a Christian and knew this was the enemy, as soon as I started to try to figure what to do immediately I knew, the Lord said to me in my heart, just say my name, just say Jesus, I said His holy name in my heart and instantly it vanished, Praise God for the ALL POWERFUL NAME OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, THANK-YOU DEAR LORD JESUS, YOU ALWAYS RESCUE ME ............ I had this happen to me a few times! I would wake up and I couldnt move or breathe but my head would be like propped up? An old woman all in white with like a white veil over her head and just over the top of her face would be sitting on the end of my bed just sitting there? And then she would turn around and scream or stand up and walk towards me and just stand over me! Its actually so horrible! ............ I used to get this frequently and earliest I remember was when I was about 3.... Ive had some really crazy experiences during these sleep paralysis episodes, have had demons attempting to take advantage of me while in this state...had one carving in the word Satan on my eyelids with his nail once....Ive also had out of body experiences triggered from it and have found myself either floating up towards the ceiling or downward into the ground...and can still see my body laying where I sleep....once even saw some beast like creature open up a door come into the room and grab my body while I was watching from above....have had dog like demons growling in my ear and I prayed, then a while light suddenly came out of nowhere and went into me and it stops...crazy crazy stuff I tell you..I could go on for days.... Bottom line though ever since Ive learned the truth about spiritual entities and aliens, as well as the power that has been granted to Lucifer to do as he will on earth (only temporarily) and have put 100% respect in my Lord and give Him the credit that hes due, that he is sovereign, the most powerful and always in control; above all created evil...well these episodes have almost completely stopped now and when they do occur they are never so intense or accompanied by demons any more ............. This always happens to me. Thats the devil trying to take you in your sleep. When this begans to happen just call on the name of the Lord. Jesus!!! Just keep calling his name. It works. ............. Would hear these freaky little voices saying hurry up and get her shes about to wake up. Get her before she wakes up! And the voices would get louder an louder until I snap out of it. One I felt a dried up hand grab my upper arm. Scary sh*t but Ive gotten use to it knowing its just hallucination ............. I remember laying in bed, lights off, layed on my back and was faceing towards my bedroom mirror, not once did I shut my eyes so whoever says it was a dream its a load off bull. I felt something pushing the whole of my body against the bed, my mind was fully awake/functioning I was still looking at this mirror wile it was happening, I couldnt move I tried to scream, my mouth was moveing but no sound was comeing out. I managed to move my arm off the bed and put my hand on a glass that I had left there before bed, at this point I was scared as hell because I knew for sure I wasnt just dreaming. I also have had this happen to me twice, and also to my mum a couple of months after I had told her and she said it was just a dream. I dont know what to believe, wether its spiritual or psycological, I just dont like it and would never want it to happen again, I diddnt say jesus, I just tried to get away. and it stopped .............. Caroline Wells This happened to me over 40 years ago, I was about 12 - I suddenly woke up and was absolutely terrified and had an overwhelming sense of evil in the room.It lasted a good few minutes. I have never known such fear since. I could just about whisper Mum, Mum and to this day I dont know how she heard me as she was on the other side of the house which was very large. She came to me and as soon as I saw her the feeling went but she had to stay with me for the rest of night and I was always nervous of going to sleep for sometime after that. Now I get a similar feeling - but not the fear - and I just bless whatever is there and it goes. ............ I have experienced this so many times. I call for help an fightin this presence but when I finally am able to get up by calling on. Jesus or just repaeting Blood of Jesus help me, then it leaves and I ask my husband did u not hear me scream for help and kick around. he says u were as still as a church mouse an never made one move. this is a very frustrating and scary feeling. I make sure I ask God to cover me while I sleep an protect me an I find that,that actually works. ............. I had this happen to me after I came home from a funeral and couldnt hrlp but think about the lady that passed away and I fell asleep. Then woke up with her holding me down trying to suffocate me and I couldnt move or talk nothing! I was soo scared I wanted to scream so bad and reach for my sister that was sleeping next to me. She let go and I screamed for my parents. The most horrifying experience Ive ever had!
