[OLD PATH FINDER] when it seems everything is going wrong, could be God is calling, when God called Jonah and told him to go to Nineveh, but JONAH FLED FROM his CALLING GOT HIM A TICKET TO tarshish, he got into trouble, a whale swollowed him, can you imagine that whales digestive system eating away on ole Jonah, it was a three day journey back to Nineveh , Jonah entered that city in one day he got in a hurrry, Saul latter named Paul was on the way to Demmascus to hunt down Christians, bring them bound to Jerusalem, a light shined around him he fell to the ground he heard a voice saying Saul Saul why persecutest thou me, Saul said who art thou Lord Jesus said I am Jesus whom thou persecutest [when someone persecutes Gods children they are persecuting God] Jesus said its hard to kick against the pricks [ goads] compare goads were long spear shaped tools that were used to guide oxen in the direction they wanted them to go God uses spiritual goads to get people to go staight could be sickness could be finnances etc if we could only see to put God first we could avoid a lot of painful things. love you bro Art
