OMERUO SET TO KNOW COMEBACK DATE TODAY Super Eagles and Chelsea defender, Kenneth Omeruo, will be told his comeback date today after a remarkable recovery from a shoulder operation. MTNFootball gathered that Omeruo will meet with specialists in London on Wednesday for them to assess his recovery and put a date when he could be back in action. Initial diagnosis was that he will be out for eight weeks after the surgery on August 14. Omeruo’s adviser Chika Conleth Akujobi told MTNFootball:”Kenneth is doing very well, he has made a remarkable recovery, even quicker than expected. He will visit the specialists on Wednesday to know when he could return to action.” The 19-year-old defender has already begun light jogging apart from the Chelsea squad. Akujobi said the only downside for Omeruo is that he misses the Super Eagles. He has thus far missed the team’s wins over South Africa and Malawi. He has secured a work permit to feature in the English Premier League after a loan spell at Dutch club ADO Den Haag.
