OMG! I can relate to this womans anger and frustration, when I see something like this, I realize once more why I dont live back in the Midwest any longer. I lived and worked in that shit most of my working life of over 55 plus years; getting up an hour early every morning to shovel my driveway out so I could get out to the street; and shoveling my way back into my driveway at night after work; standing around fire barrels on construction sites in an attempt to keep warm; fought frozen water lines at home; 20-25 degree house temps if my furnace quit and wrapping up in every available coat, glove, scarf, and thermalwear; dead car batteries, even frozen radiators if my anti-freeze mix was wrong; and also driving down the road and have my windshield washer fluid freeze up on me, and then attempt to drive to my destination looking out the door window because my windshield was frozen over with ice and mud thrown from other peoples cars, and getting that same ice and mud thrown in my face. Oh yeah, and multiply that about ten times, when I lived in Minnesota. Thanks, but no thanks. I found my home here in Arizona, and even though conditions arent the best, Ill take it over the ice and snow. Today, I loved getting up early, opening up my house; putting on my coffee, and sitting on my patio in my robe, enjoying that coffee, during this, the month of November, while a slight cool breeze wafts across my back yard. Nothing like it. And by the way, Im not raggin on anybody else livin in the cold country, but I paid my dues, and now its somebody elses turn. :o)
