OMG! I have been communicating with some of my DNA relatives that I have connected with through my DNA results. The other day I started sending out messages to my closest connections, and to my surprise everyone I have contact so far has relied to my messages. I have an on-line Family Tree listing 3,610 family members . . . and I’m inviting my connections to view my family tree in hopes that we can substantiate our connection and common ancestor. Yesterday I was contacted by one of my European connections . . . and today he e-mailed me back our common ancestor (1796 time period), and sure nuf she listed on my family tree. Wow! I’m so excited not only for the connection but to know I’m right on track with my research. Now, if I can only find the common ancestors on my African side, those are the gaps I need to fill on my Family Tree.
