OMG..grrr Well, we all know by now about the voter purging efforts, restricting voting through various means in numerous states controlled by Republicans. The latest effort is basically secret and has now only been exposed by investigative journalist, Greg Palast. See the link below for his report. The newest method of purging voters from the rolls is called Crosscheck. The current 7 million voters on these lists are compared to similar names in other states, and they are assumed to be voting in two different states called double voting. For example, James Elmer Barnes, Jr in Georgia is assumed to be the same person as James Cross Barnes III in Virginia. The lists of 7 million have not yielded a single conviction for double voting yet. The purging before the 2014 midterms focused on the battleground states. Given the numbers of purged voters, 589,393 in North Carolina and 300,842 in Colorado, there is no way the Republicans could have taken the Senate. Voters targeted frequently had names such as Michael Jackson, and Juan Rodriguez. Asian Americans, African Americans and Hispanics are 67% more likely than white people to have similar names. Notice the racial smell to the tactics? https://youtube/watch?v=wIa_qoyQZKc The people on the Crosscheck lists are labelled as inactive meaning they wont be able to vote in the 2016 election. The effects of the purging efforts in all these states will carry a much bigger bite in the 2016 election than in 2014. The handwriting is on the wall - our democracy is rapidly slipping away (since 2000) with the consent of many of the common people beguiled by the Republican brand of politics. Chester Rebel
