OMG this is so messed up. I just read this disturbing story where apparently this woman who owned a home in Detroit had gone away for a year. When she came back she found there was a strange woman living in her house who claims the house is now hers. The squatter " changed the locks, reworked the plumbing, replaced her appliances, put a lien on the house and even changed the curtains." She claims to have spent all her money on the renovation and now has no where else to go. The woman who owns the house is not legally allowed to remove the other woman by force and is so forced to live along side the intruder under the same roof!
