OMGoa!!! Its a New Year. Haha. For some reason I cant stop smiling. Smiling at my life and my living room that looks like a stage 5 Hurricane ripped through it last night. One would think the kids and I were a group of 20-something amateurs. Its truly a disaster. I guess I was expecting this morning to be different. My fantasy... wake-up to a soft kiss from my life-partner (as he scurried away to make me a hot pancake breakfast), with my kids politely kissing me on the forehead, all while saying, Good morning, Mommy. Happy New Year, we love you. Then I would gather myself, walk downstairs to a clean house and have my hot breakfast on the table. Rrrrrrch. Keyword: fantasy. My reality left me... being jolted out of my sleep at 7:07 am from a random phone call (I am mentally plucking his eyes out), and shortly thereafter my sweet 3 yo. screaming from her bed, Mommy come and get me. Well, on the bright side. I did get the I love you, Mommy. Happy New Year., the kisses, and the hot pancake breakfast (even if I had to make it myself). So I guess Im #winning. Signed me on, Life is exactly how it is suppose to be. #RitaRita in Real Life. #YORR2015
