ON FRIDAY, JULY 18 at 7pm, @ HOLY GROUNDS CAFE, Emmitsburg, MD ~ You are in for an enriching evening of POETRY by TRACY PRIOR SEFFERS. Please bring someone you care for and COME!! Open readings precede. The cafe bookstore is located in Emmitsburg, MD. Parking is available streetside or in the alley near the church just behind the café. BIO~ Tracy Seffers lives with her family on the banks of the Shenandoah River in West Virginia, under the shadow of the Blue Ridge. She has an undergraduate degree in English from Lyon College, and a masters degree in English from The College of William and Mary in Virginia. She works at Shepherd University as a registrar, and serves as a coordinator of the local chapter of Team River Runner, a national non-profit organizations that teaches recreational and adaptive kayaking to veterans recovering from the wounds of combat, both visible and invisible. Her poetry has appeared in numerous regional literary journals, both print and online, including the Anthology of Appalachian Writer, Assisi, Backbone Mountain Review, Bluestone Review, and Still: The Journal.
