ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 1 SISTER OUTSIDER IS PERFORMING SPOKEN WORD AT THE VANDAL BALLROOM IN THE STUDENT UNION BUILDING AT 7 P.M. I got this notification by email from UI. How I have not heard about this from the CW department, I dont know. But seriously, GO! Denice Frohman and Dominique Christina are incredible. Theyre two of the top female slam poets in the world. Ill be there. Its free and open to the public! This is such an awesome opportunity. This event is in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and LGBTQA History Month.
