★★★ ON TONIGHT’S TBD LIST ★★★ A volunteer writes: Jeremy was relinquished into our care because of the NYCHA ban. No comments unfortunately were left with us by his former owner.... Jeremy seems to have been very well cared for. He is healthy looking, the perfect weight and has a most gorgeous dark brindle coat splashed with dashes of bright orange. He is laying quietly in his kennel, never failing to look at me and with such gentle and needy eyes. Jeremy is leashed easily and is a dream to walk. He seems very much housetrained and does not mark his territory. He nears other dogs, big and small without fuss and did not at all respond to an unfriendly pooch we met in the street. He stayed by my side, minding his business. Jeremy sits and stays on command and takes treats very gently from my hand. Free in a large pen, he comes to sit by my side and places his head in my lap for caresses. He also likes to jump on the bench and settle very close to me....Jeremy is not a yard dog. He is too well mannered and at ease around people. Jeremy is at the Manhattan Care Center because no fault of his own, a gentle, friendly and well mannered dog who is hoping to start his life all over again with you, as your forever best friend.
