ON WARNING SHOTS & ALL THAT -- Consider these two thoughts concerning our local stand your ground (if youre white) law. 1. The jury will probably be asked if firing a warning shot that doesnt hit anyone is worth 60 years in jail. 2. People who are in abusive relationships often are not model citizens. They suffer from psychological trauma and perhaps behave in a way that, say, Laura Bush or Michelle Obama would not behave.
