ON the embattled and struggling if not failing to deliver President Mugabe Government decision to order foreigners out of Zimbabwe Retail Business Sector: First of all, there is no doubt that the foreigners supply of retail goods and services has been meeting a certain existing local market demand for such retail goods and services. In that reality regard, it is critical to ensure that there is a ready to supply local replacement base of suppliers to that existing demand for the goods and services which are currently being provided by foreigners in the Zimbabwe Retail Business Sector so that if the foreign suppliers are suddenly removed from the retail supply local market equation, that will not create a vacuum of suppliers or a dramatic reduction of suppliers which can then result in market shortages of the goods and services being provided by such foreign suppliers and such shortages come with inflation. Its therefore also important to ensure that before ejecting the foreign suppliers of retail goods and services, the indigenous Zimbabweans are fully equipped to fill in the vacuum that would be created if there is a sudden ejection of foreign suppliers of goods and services. That means its necessary to ensure that there is a ready base of indigenous Zimbabweans with the business will and capital to readily replace those foreign suppliers of retail goods and services should such foreigners be suddenly removed from the local retail market. It is absolutely essential to make sure that any policies in that area and the whole wholesale sector in Zimbabwe make goods and services more available and more affordable not more scarce and more expensive. It is also absolutely essential to refrain from economic xenophobia and reckless populism at a time when the aggrieved home countries of those foreigners can also engage in tit for tat and block or sabotage Zimbabwe state legalized and constitutional interests. #Lets have fair and just local and international trade#
