ONCE AGAIN...these cherished myths we are taught in school - come crashing down upon closer scrutiny, what amazes me though is how my old Aunt (Granny Ruth) knew the truth - long before modern science has now come around to the scientific conclusion that the Americas were settled from SOUTH to North (and with Polynesian infusion & exchange), not North to South as the Bering Strait theory contends - which means...just as Granny Ruth told me when I was a little boy: One day they will find out that we (Amerindians of South America) are the oldest people in the New World.
