ONCE I HAD A DAY JOB! I love this spontaneous jam way back then in Clover Studios….a one day shot at recording 6 tunes. Jimmy Fielder on bass, eddie greene/drums, Dave Pike/vibes, david bourne/piano, Rick LoTempio/guitar, John Millerburg/Harp. Arnie Atell/flute, reeds…who Have I forgotten. We were rehearsing a riff for another song when this just happened spontaneously. I just love it, true synergistic jazz communion. Also I need to remind myself that once I had a day job so I thought Ide take a look back. I have a few more tunes to post from the first CD which I just finished the package art for. Ill be in LA and Longbeach the last week of the month. Check out a studio and some players schedules. Still trying to find time to set up a fundraiser on indigogo…AAAKK Thank God for credit cards and balls out dreams. Cant stop til I get my other 14 tunes down so I can get working on the new stack of songs haunting me. So life isnt like a lotus blossom, Budda looks a bit like Alan Watts. Everyones getting religious about psycotropics again and I get high just knowing the music comes and settles in seemingly removing the rest of the imploding war of Gods batteling over whos right. Come on Budda sometimes youve gotta getta megaphone to quiet things down.
