ONE FOOT IN MY MOUTH 21/8/14 No 142 Editorial:- Quiet here at SG1, oh yes that is the shortened version of the name I`ve given to the camp. It actually sounds more like a London area than our camps unofficial monica. Where do you live Fred? Er, SG1. Anyway lots of residents attended a garden party somewhere in Norwich this afternoon, put on by the owners of our home and the many other complexes they own around here. The object is to allow residents to meet the management teams and associate with other family members. A very nice idea. Among the various attractions, a bouncy castle, free ice creams, cups of tea for the older visitors and cream cakes. Meanwhile the offers available from our weekly gift list,- samples are left for us to peruse - include, A pop up book of farm animals, replacement fasteners for broken zips, Bonzi (sic) trees for the smaller person, and bibs for all ages. Then there is the newly introduced jigsaw puzzle set up on a table in the lounge. The picture, a kitten. A note states anybody can fit in any pieces. Why is it that when you move into a place like this people seem to think you are Ga Ga, or you can only do old peoples things. I hope that don`t sound agist.
