ONLY 1 in 12 Exodus 32:26 ‘Then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp and said, whoever is on the Lord’s side – come to me! And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him.’ My dearly beloved friends in Christ, that day at Sinai the children of Israel decided to forsake the Lord their God and worship a golden calf made by their hands. Hence the reason why Moses calls out to the people saying whoever is on the Lord’s side – come to me. Out of the 12 tribes only one came and stood by Moses. Percentage wise that equals 8.3% - only 1 in 12. Not even 10%. Yes beloved when you follow Christ truly and live exclusively by the Word of God, you are going to be the 1 in 12 person. You will be the minority. This is why Jesus said in Luke 18:8 ‘when the Son of Man comes will He really find faith on the earth?’ Indeed today in many churches they go to extreme lengths to justify their sin as being right and okay with weird doctrines such as hyper grace, extreme grace and many such buzz words of today’s church circles. My precious friends in Christ who constitute the 1 in 12, I tell you today do not give up your faith. Do not compromise with the world. Stay strong in your righteous walk and obey the word of God fully. Colossians 2:6-8 instructs us saying ‘As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world and not according to Christ.’ Our lives must reflect Christ in all areas. It must be holy just as He was holy. It must be loving just as He was loving. It must be compassionate just as He was compassionate. It must be forgiving, just as He was forgiving. Yes beloved our lives must be a testimony and reflection of the Holy Word of God. Beloved sin will keep you out of Heaven. That is the simple and basic truth. You might say I am a pastor, I am a elder, I am born again but according to Hebrews 6:4-6 and Hebrews 10:26-31 after having known the truth if we continue to wilfully sin then there is no sacrifice left for us except hell fire. That is what the Word says. If I post this message on FB and then go and give into all the lusts of the flesh and sin, I will not go to heaven. The person who reads the post and changes his or her life will be in heaven but I will miss it because knowing the truth, knowing the Bible I have continued to sin and not been repentant nor given it up. So beloved do not give up on your faith. Stand firm even if you are in the minority. For your faith in Christ will be rewarded and you have a guaranteed place in Heaven beside the Father. Revelation 3:21 ‘To Him who overcome I will grant to sit with Me on My throne as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.’ God bless you – Romesh Daniels.
