ONLY BECAUSE its the law, I am amazed at how outrageous people can act out of pure ignorance. This Trayvon Martin Incident should never seen a criminal courtroom. PLEASE READ, we have all had a jerk or two (hundred lol) we have wanted to slap or beat the hell out of for something they said or did. You knew you cannot do that in our country. The law is clear when you put your hands on another person in a violent manner its assault. How violent and physical you do it determines the degree of the charge. If somebody calls your dead mother a whore, a white man a dumb ass cracker, or a black person nigger in none of these situations will our laws allow you to put your hands on that person with violent intent. It did not matter if Trayvon Martin had a Colt 45 40 oz beer and a Cheech n Chong joint in his hands that night or if he had a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a glass of milk, it did not matter if Zimmerman followed him, called him dirty names or what. WHAT did matter was what happened when the two came face to face. Trayvon Martin did not have ONE mark on his body except for a bullet entry wound. No scrapes, bruises or other injuries. Zimmerman had a broken noses and beat up head in the back with lacerations. Only question a law enforcement official or juror should ask is, given the size of the person doing this assault and amount of physical harm the victim has would a reasonable person be in fear of losing their life during this type of assault? Easy answer for me ,yes. If I had a six foot tall person pounding my head in the concrete the thought of dying would be foremost on my mind. Forget stand your ground laws it would not matter. You cannot get on top of a person and beat their head into concrete and not expect them to try and stop you with whatever means they have available. The jury got it right. Peace, Randy
