OPEN LETTER TO GOV ROCHAS OKOROCHA JETISON TRIBAL FAVOURISM IMBIBE THE CULTURE OF PROPER ACCOUNTABILY IN THIS YOUR ADMINISTRATION: To some of my friends who feel whenever I am attacking the present administration of Gov Rochas Okorocha by condemning his bad Government and his substandard infrastructural structures he has been putting on ground as a wasted resources feel also attacked, I dont feel sorry for you all .For i will not stop talking until things changes, because I wouldnt know why Gov Rochas should bring tribalisim and segregation in all his policies and, Even in ways of running his government. Just recently in a close door meeting with some of his trusted aids he. Disclosed to them by saying mbaise will not see any project that will bring development to to the area . No wonder when Gov Rochas came on board the first thing he did was to remove the permanent site of imo state university which was located in mbaise in the original master plan of imo state, while as a Gov everybody supposed to have been carried along. I remember nelson mandela says I Quote during my life time, I have dedicated myself to the struggle of african people, I have fought a pianist the white domination, I have cherished a democratic and a free society in which all persons will live together in harmony and also with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve and if need must be it is an ideal which I am prepared to die for. This is froma leader who dont count where u come from whether orlu,owerri or okigwe before you be appointed one position or the other or before some thing get to you as your right as a citizen. Just Recently a list of people nominated for post of Vice chancellor of imo state university was released and it was strictly for profs from only orlu origin. Even including in the areas of awarding of his contracts there is a lot segregation, if you are a PDP member or did not come from his zone or not his relatives the job is not for you. I am not saying this just to make him unpopular before the people or to my candidate credit just to win the sympathy of the people rather I am asking the government to be accommodative to all, because it says I am not bound to win but I am bound to be true, I am not bound to succeed but I am bound to live by the light that I have, I must stand with anybody that stands right and stand with him while he is right and part with him when he goes wrong. The independence of our country is meaningless unless it is linked up with the total liberation of africa(Dr. Kwame Nkrumah). This is the men the africans leaders should emulate, especially Gov Rochas Okorocha. If you watch the way the admission processes was conducted into our own state Imo state university you could also find out there was a lot of favourism. The list contain a greater number of students of orlu origin than the owerri zone people who are academically inclined. in fact 65% of them are orlu origin. Our leaders have forgotten that when the people voted you in they voted you because they have believe in your mental capacity and physical capability to liberate the people from the manacles and sharkles of perpetual under- development so that the pride of the people as men and women of dignity must be restored, so that they may smile again. Because when the leaders abandoned the public trust invested on them by the electorates, because that is a convenient between the people and their elected representatives that is a breach and it is a renege and betrayal and also retrogressive in nature. You can never be success until you train your mind how to be success conscious, our leaders should learn how to success conscious not only money bag politics, constant misappropriation of public fund and financial recklessness especially in Imo state. It is said I quoteYou are never a failure until u begin to blame someone els(By George Washington). Any time you see Gov Rochas in a public places or functions his first statements always goes with either attack on previous administration or condemning PDP. All I am saying is that people should not be disenfranchised their right as citizens in imo state just because they dont come from orlu, there must be a maintaining of an equammous temperament as preached by the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, I quote I will appeal to all Americans to show love to both candidates and vote not for the colour of their skin but for the content and strength of the character by so doing America would have erected its flag on the democracy sands of our time. Furthermore, Insecurity everywhere kidnapping,gang reap and armed robbery, all manner of social vices. Some weeks back a number third citizen of the country just visited the state for a burial of one business mogul Chief John Anyanehe in nkwere local Government on his way going he was attacked, and the news had been circulated and speculated as sponsored by APC people in imo state and since then Gov Rochas have not find it serious to call for investigation on the matter in his usual. My people what does this attitude alone means? If this can happen to the president of the senate and nothing happens what is the hope of a common man. If there is any need why this present administration should be a success there must be total attitudunal change, total over hulling of his system and style of governance, accommodate all, jettison tribalism, segregation and above all imbibe the culture of due process and proper accountability.
