OPEN LETTER TO MY CHURCH FAMILY: So proud of our ladies at House - TopicsExpress

OPEN LETTER TO MY CHURCH FAMILY: So proud of our ladies at House of Rest church. Theyve been gathering every Friday evening at the sanctuary at 7, and inviting family and friends. Each of you that have participated, thank you so much for trusting my decision in having Tina lead. Sister Tina Santillan, I appreciate you very much. I still remember when we were losing our first building, you and Ray said, David, we are going to go through this with you, we arent going anywhere. Well you have been true to that word and I thank you both. I appreciate the fact that you have stood up to lead the womens fellowship on Friday nights. Its not easy leading. But you have allowed yourself to be discipled for the last couple of years each and every Wednesday as weve gone through college course after college course. To the ladies and men on the worship team, you have no idea how I felt as I sat in the back row during your first practice. I was so moved, which is why I sat in the back so you couldnt see my eyes water. I have waited years for this day to come. Thank you Imelda Solis, Sylvia Rodriguez, Maria Elena Villagran-Escamilla, Josh Kirkpatrick, Kirstynn Fann, Chris on keyboards and Tony Rodriguez. Also to Dale Trujillo for not only creating the idea of the God Squad but in following through with it and being active. Rudy Vargas for always helping in any way possible. Especially with the camera and in your loyalty to Jesus and to learn. Also to Pastor Angel and Diana Lopez-Rocha for stepping in to help and be a part of House of Rest when I needed you the most. I dont have enough words to thank you both so much. Also for the women that have cared enough to help with the children. Susan Crosby Rocha and Juliet Larbie. In general, to every member of our church family. You have each been a blessing to me and continue to be a blessing. For the first time since the beginning I dont feel alone in this ministry. We are growing spiritually, I see so much growth in all of you and myself. I truly love you all and am excited for what God is doing and going to do. As I end this letter, let me remind you of something. The enemy does not come from the front, he manipulates and creeps in to divide and destroy. So lets be on alert. Lets pray for each other, Lets encourage each other, lets love each other and lets all watch each others back. We are all imperfect people serving a PERFECT GOD. I want to serve God with you all for the rest of my life. When I go to speak in other churches I brag on all of you. I speak highly of you all. Because basically YOU ALL ARE THE BEST. Love you all. See you on Sunday. Pastor David Rocha. houseofrest
