OPEN LETTER TO NAUG MEMBER(ANAMBRA CHAPTER) We national executive are writing you, appreciating you towards your contribution in the fight against unemployment in the country, we pray we shall get to the promise land. It is inevitable to write at this time, in order to avoid mistake in the choice of leader in the forth coming election. Follow unemployed graduates, get in mind that the situation we found ourselves in, is as a result of "bad leaders". Though the then minister of National Planning and Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission, Dr. Shamsudeen Usman, said in Awka that Anambra was one of the few states in the country with the lowest level of unemployment, unfortunately there is no iota of truth in his statement. So far, the unemployment rate in the Anambra state is about 90% while graduates are forced into onisha market and other markets to sell recharge cards, fight to have customers(alpriko) run after containers e.t.c. We hereby call on you all to 1. Study the manifesto of all candidates. 2. What is the antecedent of each candidates(moral- accountability and transperacy) 3. No money politics If none meets up with the criteria, we write to inform you all unemployed graduates and well meaning youths to boycott the election. The truth is that without our vote no winner can have the required votes to constitutionally declare him as a winner. Signed. NAUG
