OPERATION STORM DELTA/EDO AGAINST IMMIGRATION SCAM The people - TopicsExpress

OPERATION STORM DELTA/EDO AGAINST IMMIGRATION SCAM The people must know that they own the power and not the elected officials. Our blood must not be used to oil their political relevance. Yesterday was a black day in the history of employment in Nigeria, where we lost over 16 able bodied youths. These are heroes who were not killed by cult groups in the University, neither did they die as a result of clash in the North while they were youth corp members, but died yesterday in the hands of the government they elected to give them jobs. We reject it completely! We reject the scam called the Immigration screening exercise; yes we say no to this scam. A process where youths who have no jobs are meant to pay N1000 before applying for the NIS is totally unacceptable to us. A situation where our youths are invited to a venue that cannot contain them, as if they are sardine is entirely rejected by us. This is no time for pretense. We either stage a protest to condemn it and make sure that those involved in this murder are probed and brought to book. We have to protest to our state government and let them tell the Presidency to sack the Interior Minister, Abba and the CG, Paradang now. Our blood is not for sale. There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.- Elie Wiesel I call on all Nigerians, especially those in Delta and Edo State to begin to mobilize themselves for a Nationwide protest on Tuesday or Wednesday. Those who are well to do can print T-shirts of our dead heroes and also give to others. We call on all Nigerians to begin contacting themselves for this great occasion, as we protest against unemployment. To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men. Where globalization means, as it so often does, that the rich and powerful now have new means to further enrich and empower themselves at the cost of the poorer and weaker, we have a responsibility to protest in the name of universal freedom - Nelson Mandela. Their blood cry out to us, and we must heed the call for this protest. For contact, please call or sms +2348026797588, +23439164091. Share and broadcast
