#OPINION BARINGO COUNTY FUNDS MIGHT BE RETURNED TO NATIONAL TREASURY By William Tengecha Based on the treasury details on the Daily Nation of Friday 23rd it is indicate that Baringo has unspent development budget of 332 million for the financial year 2013/14, yet only one month remaining to utilize the funds, this means most of this money will b returned at the end of June. I recommend that: 1. The money be channeled to emergencies like relief food to all wards to mitigate the drought effects. 2. Pay fees to poor n vulnerable children esp the Idps/victims of cattle rustling n floods in Baringo South & North sub-counties. 3.
