OPPOSITION PLAYING JUDGE, JURY AND EXECUTIONER – POLITICAL ANALYSTS Alliance For Change (AFC) leader, Khemraj Ramjattan and A Partnership For National Unity (APNU) leader, David Granger are being chastised by political analysts for recent threats that ‘defaulters” of the ruling People’s Progressive Party/Civic administration will be jailed under an opposition led government. Analysts say this threat is proof that the AFC and APNU do not believe in the justice system, since they are clearly playing judge, jury and executioner. Analysts contend that this is clearly the first step in anarchy, since no proof has ever been provided of these claims of corruption by government officials. The government has challenged both the AFC and APNU time and again to provide evidence of corruption and take the matter to court… to date no proof has surfaced, only accusations. This style, analysts believe sets a dangerous precedent and exposes the immaturity and vindictiveness of the opposition political parties.
