OPT STEM Extension Pending No Client OPT/CPT Blast Resume to 2500+ employers via bit.ly/18niNwb Hi All, My OPT STEM Extension Application is in initial review - has been 60 days. My employer is doing marketing for my resume however I did not got the client yet. Hence, no payroll with this (new) employer. I still have room in my 90-day unemployment period on OPT but my employer wants to run the payroll in case I get RFE for employment proof. Here are the questions I have: 1) Since I have some time to hit the 90-day unemployment clock. Do I still need to have payroll run with this employer to be safe? 2) If yes, then since I do not have Client letter, can that be a problem. I would appreciate the suggestions.
