ORDINANCE NO. PL-017 SERIES OF 2014 from the Committee on Housing and Land Use AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE NEW ZONING REGULATIONS FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF SILANG, AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT AND AMENDMENT THEREOF, AND FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. This ordinance shall be known as the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of Silang and is enacted for the following purposes: - Guide, control and regulate future growth and development of Silang, Cavite in accordance with its Comprehensive Land Use Plan; - Promote and protect health, safety, peace, comfort, convenience and general welfare of the inhabitants of the municipality; - Guide the local government and the private sector in their development decisions; - Provide the proper regulatory environment to maximize opportunities for creativity, innovation, and make ample room for development within the framework of good governance and community participation; and - Enhance the character and stability of residential, commercial, industrial, agri-industrial, institutional, forestry, agricultural, SAFDZ, open spaces and other functional areas within the Municipality of Silang and pomote the olderly and beneficial development of the same.
