ORGAN DONATION - This week is National Transplant Week, which aims to raise awareness about organ donation and transplants, and in particular being a donor and joining the donor register. As of April 2013, there were still around 7,000 people waiting for a transplant, despite over 20 million being registered to donate. So why arent more people offering their organs and tissue for donation after their death? What organs can you donate? And what happens after you death if you chose to be a donor?
