ORIENTATION # 1182 : THE FUNCTION OF SELF-EDUCATION _________________________________________ I think Im smart, advanced, clever, proud of my tricks, then comes someone who shows me that Im not so.. I think Im shifting, Im entering another dimension of existence.. Im reaching some enlightenment.. Im floating on some high vibrations of consciousness.. but then comes someone who exposes me what the real thing actuality is .. fact, reality.. Im so connected with my god that I feel as an imperative member of the one-truth-church whatsoever: Im stuffed of faith and psycho-security to gain my future paradise, or merely what my guru, my sect, my cult told me to reach.. but then comes rationality, in form of logical thinking, (not the drug of believing) to suggest me to inquire.. to find out from myself about the process through which I actually made up the whole illusory thing, fomented by what Ive been told, I have adopted as true, I have believed with out any question whatsoever.. and not only that: fresh minds around show me how this has been a quite common human phenomenon.. believing, not thinking.. and how it has been all over the millenary place.. along the history ... Am I going to like this inquiry ? Am I going to think rationally and intelligently and willing to leave, even for just a little while, my swamp of beliefs, big glittered but delusional spiritual hopes, my mystical pride and my reverential faith ? Am I going to do so and so to actually think in psychological freedom, which is most likely that experience I never had ? Or will I prefer and chose to argue about freedom .. while actually fearing it forever and ever.. by shaping reason and the bringer of reason, whether a person or a possible private process of thinking, into my enemy, my evil, so stupidly ? And by selecting the capsule of my illusions, rather than my actual brain ? The vision of what is outside the capsule built up in the brain by the act of believing is always something very unpalatable to the many of us.. Unpleasant, annoying and even evil.. Unfortunately; this condition, this psychological, psychosocial and psycho-behavioural capsule is exactly what gives birth to human stupidity.. The function of education, not just the education at school; education understood in its complete sphere of thinking and assimilating: self-education: learning and understanding.. the function of self- psychological education is to help us from childhood not to imitate anybody. Psychological freedom, which is the only possibility to bring into being a future intelligent civilization and minds, does not lie in trying to become something different, whether smart, enlightened, shifted and so on.. but rather in understanding how our mind functions from moment to moment, .. unfortunately we are not educated for this.. but rather to do quite the opposite.. As long as self-education in psychological freedom is not brought into being, so long there cannot be a cleaned intelligence .. There are sly and cunning games due to competition and greed, perhaps .. Or the mash believing and gullibility .. But without psychological freedom, rational and evolutionary intelligence remains a mystery among men .. while the future generations will pay such a hard price..
