ORIENTATION # 761 : THE SO COMMON CATASTROPHE OCCURRING TO THE CHILD ________________________________________________ There is a range of time .. let say between 3 and 5 years old ...in which the kid progressively decodes that the parents represent in some way some sort of authority .. and no longer just helpers, givers, taking care entities .. . Even the most anti-authoritarian and kind parent cannot avoid this psychological conditioned germination in the childs brain... The kid progressively realizes, because of the comparison he does, because of the more refined development of the intellect, because of more capacities to analyze things and phenomena around him/she... that there is a position of command of some kind... or something like that... that takes place between him/she and the parents ... This realization creates gradually rising confusionism in the kids mind.. up to the major psychological catastrophe in which the kid comes to the mistaking and self-deceiving conclusion in which he comes to believe that relationship in general must imply the germ of authority ... so i must be learning.. so i must be growing and so on... An intelligent and sensitive kid incorporates all of these things.. all of this confusion.. even more than the normal kid... holding within all the questions (with no answers) the communication of which is usually not shared not exposed together intelligently ... not by the school system, neither, so often, by the parents .. This is precisely the very embryo of the psychological tragedy in which the kid begins his or her own intimate extermination of imagination and free intelligence in the name of the false need to develop an identity which must be compatibly able to respond to the family systems values.. then, by expanding itself.. to the whole social structure in which that kid lives... with, as future consequences, very possible psychological disasters and frequent messed up illusions to follow ...
