ORIENTATION # 930 : THE BIRTH OF DENIAL OF COMPREHENSION ______________________________ Can the mind be completely free of its past ?.. The decadence of this question is as trivial as its formulation is.. pretty much like the plastic passionflowers discolored by time.. One walks through the Gibraltars streets.. a barely 18 years old boy marches militarily on the same tile in front of a brass cannon ..seized by strict British discipline of honour & pride... waving old conflicts and conquests the history of which is most likely even unknown to him.. while agitating mathematically a gun that presents, at its end, an unlikely semblance of a bayonet painted with fake blood.. Can the mind be completely free of its past ?.. One already imagines the breath of a nineteenth-century zealous philosopher who caresses his mustache before firing another intellectual rumination aimed to polish his academic razor.. To not mention the acid sounds of the spiritual motivational speaker who... as a sort of schizophrenic rat... lucubrates nonsenses mixed with nonsensical but fashionable quantum theories picked up on the net or some books.. or proudly learned at one of the many expensive retreats.. Can the mind be completely free of its past ?.. Can mankind be completely free of its flags ? Its obvious that one should go far in order to explore such question.. First of all this question carries another question which is : who is asking this question ? If the formulator of the question is you, you intended as your personality, your luggages of memories, what you call consciousness (which means: the conscience of yourself just like it is; with all of the conditionings and influences its made of) and the whole corollary that made up the psychological architecture of what you are now ..with all of its contents of struggles, never fully comprehended mental activities, mental incongruences and confusion of various kind and so on .. If it is consciousness what tries to place the question, then consciousness is actually trying to escape from the question itself cause the matter this question, which is conditioned at its very beginning, is made of.. is a matter framed and put together by the hope to be free.. not by the understanding of the reason why the mind is not free .. and the hope to be psychologically free doesnt bring about freedom at all.. but quite the opposite.. A mind thinks I lived for so long in confusion, in apprehension, in fight and search for illusions, in self sabotage and so on.. and thats the subconscious reason why I place this question...-- can the mind be free from the past ?-- This question, if made up by our consciousness.. is completely unintelligence cause it implies the desire to come across an answer and the expected answer merely represents the denial of understanding .. ________________________________________ endoffear.weebly/ eofproject.org jessicamystic
