OSCARS : Now that the hype is over about the Oscars, let me air my disappointment about how unfair, biased and close knit that annual Shindig really is: The people who win these trophies are not the ones who should get them in the first place. Like I said, this is a very very biased process!!!!!!! How about good old Clara? She never got an Oscar and her acting in the Hamburger commercial, which was done in Shakespearean flair, was second to none. Clara has died years ago but do you not still hear her unmistakable, unforgettable, brilliantly delivered line Wheres the beef ??? What about the old lady who acted so brilliantly in Clap on Clap off ???????? Cant you just still see her laying in bed in that old fashioned white, lace trimmed nightie, clapping her hands together and just before the light goes out, dropping her head onto the pillow just like Liz Taylor in One flew over the CooCoos Nest? What about the talented actress who ever so gracefully lies on the floor, reaching towards the sky with one hand, like Charlton Heston did in Psycho, while propping up her old, twisted in pain and agony, body with the other hand and than delivered the line we all have edged into our brains with such force? I have fallen and I cant get up!!!!!!!! What acting that was! Brilliant! Unforgettable up to this day but, did any of those people ever get an Oscar? No, they did not and that just goes to proof that the Oscars are an insider affair and should not be watched any longer! The dresses are nice though and when one of them falls while tripping on the steps is really funny and entertaining but, I will no longer patronize that Affair....... until next year! Oscars are for egotistical People who just want to rub it in by being able to say, if you play nice I let you come over and see my Oscar Well, if you play nice I let you come over to MY place and see my OSCAR!!!!!!!!!!! Hows that? Im done now plus I got to go to work! Money does not grow on trees you know!
