OSUN EARMARKS N35M FOR PROPHET OBADARE’s BURIAL A sum of 35 million naira has been earmarked by the Government of the State of Osun as part of its contribution to the burial of late Prophet Timothy Oluwole Obadare whose burial rites will be observed between 9th and 17th August 2013 at the World Soul Winning Evangelistic Ministry (WOSEM Theology Centre, Ilesha). Dr. Wale Bolorunduro, Commissioner for Finance, Economic Planning and Budget, who disclosed this on Tuesday August 13, 2013 in a press statement said Governor Aregbesola has ordered the . Commending the Governor for embracing all religious sects in the state, Bolorunduro described Late Prophet Obadare as one of the great spiritual icons and sage the state is proud of, saying he had promoted the name of Osun beyond the shores of Nigeria during his missionary duties as C.A.C General Evangelist. The Finance Commissioner said in the release that, the mausoleum of the late Prophet will be a great benefit to the State of Osun in terms of tourism development as it could attract the influx of tourists to the state.
