OTT Technologies (Pty) Ltd – The Art of Successful Engineering (???). Their 16 armored vehicles that were found driving on the streets of Maputo illegally have now been reverted to the Mozambican state. OTT and associates will also have to pay a nice fine of about 1,5 million USD to the Mozambican state in fines etc. When will SA business here in Mozambique learn that this is not a Banana Republic where they can come and, like in this case, operate without the correct licencing and knowingly import/export goods without following Mozambican legislation and regulations? Furthermore, the whole set-up of this company in Mozambique is very fishy. Do I feel sorry for them? Nope.
