OUR 2014 APPEAL TO THE WORLD BEST FRIEND OF KIBERA AND KENYA YSMEG CENTRE KIBERA SEEKING VOLUNTEERS How can we begin to understand what life is like for those who resides in the poor Kibera! By walking a mile in their shoes. Can you go a day with only one meal? Do you borrow from your friend to survive!It’s hard to understand the complexity and the dynamic nature of slum life, but before we can start positive, long lasting change, we need to engage our self . We invite you to take the 14Day Challenge. Through a series of small activities, one a day for 14 days, you can experience a glimpse of the challenges and joys of life in Kibera. Most importantly, we hope you’ll finish with a deeper understanding of the power of community and share your experiences and reflections with our community. we took 14 as we are approaching 2014, we are looking at getting fourteen members to walk our talk in their community, we are looking at representative of our community in your state and tell our story and invite others to walk with us and see how it feels it may change you and you may see the world differently, i dare you take this challenge up, yes contact us please, Thank you God given friends.
