OUR LOVING ABBA FATHER! We know that our heavenly Father Himself loves us as we are in His Son. The Lord Himself told us. For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. Jn 16:27 But do you know how much our Father loves us? Yes! Yes! Yes! the Lord Himself has told us. I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, AND HAST LOVED THEM, AS THOU HAST LOVEST ME. Jn 17:23 Are you going through some difficulties? uncertainties? pains? sufferings? as a Christian?! We should always remember, Gods word tells us He will NEVER leave us or forsake us (Heb 13:5). Rejoice! God wants to discipline His sons who He loves as His Son. (Heb 12:7,8). His discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful, yet those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yeilds the PEACEFUL FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS! The earthly fathers too want their children to be disciplined. For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but our Heavenly Father FOR OUR PROFIT, THAT WE MIGHT BE PARTAKERS OF HIS HOLINESS Heb 12:10
