When Fenelon was Archbishop of Cambria, a parish priest asked him permission to abolish dancing in his parish. “It’s right,” the kind Fenelon said to him, “that we should not dance. But why prevent your poor people from dancing and thus forgetting their misery”. Show kindness in your rules and regulations. Make your church user friendly. If it doesn’t displease God, don’t stop those under you from doing what they like just because you don’t like it. LET’S PRAY: Father, teach me your ways of kindness. Take every act of kindness I show and use it as a tool of evangelism to bring lost souls to you in Jesus Name. SUCCESS ACTIVITY: Write down the names of 5 members of your family, 5 friends and 5 strangers and surprise each one with an act of kindness. It could just be a little gift or just a text message [And they don’t have to deserve it].
