OUR MORNING DEVOTION (Adapted from Our Radio Broadcast this Morning, Friday 7th March, 5am) FAITH IS... OUR LIFESTYLE...OPERATING IN THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. LISTENING TO THE...VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS!! John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. There is no difference between the Word and Jesus....they are one and the same...Praise God! Why? Because the entire Word of God is about Jesus Christ, the Seed of the woman sent to crush the head of the snake...sin! The Old Testament points to the coming of the Christ and Redemption from sin. The New Testament reveals that Christ has come...Praise God...and we now live the REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB lives. Amen...so-be-it! This Scripture reveals an awesome truth...The Word (Jesus) became flesh!!! One of us, tempted and tried just as we are, yet without sin. Jesus was not 100% God and 100% man here on earth...He put aside His Godship, to become one of us, so that one of us could redeem and restore the Relationship between Father and son, and Father and daughter. Man...Adam and Eve...brought the seperation between Father and sons/daughters, through sin... The Son of Man, Jesus, tore the veil of seperation, releasing the Presence of God back into His Children, by taking away the sin of the world. By Jesus Redeeming US from sin, He became...the glory of the Father, full of grace and truth. Yes, by accepting Jesus and His Redeption on your behalf....YOU TOO...become ... THE GLORY OF THE FATHER, FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH. In the Old Testament, by the Law of Moses, sins were covered by the Sacrifice of animals and the spilling of their blood... In the New Testament, John the Baptist, delares in John 1:29... BEHOLD!!! THE LAMB OF GOD WHO TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD! This was the dawn of a new era....no longer the blood of animals to cover sin... But, the supreme Sacrifice...Jesus...THE LAMB OF GOD...taking away the sin of the world. Moses led the Children of God out of Bondage and sin.... Jesus Christ, takes.bondage and sin...out of US, the Children of God.... WOW!!! Praise God!!! Amen. Jesus confirms this when asking the Disciples, in Matthew 16:13-16... Who do men say that I, the Son of Man am. After listening to all the gossip of what others think of Him...Jesus says in verse 15.. But who do you say that I am. This is the question that Our Savior still askes each and everyone of US...still today... BUT...WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM !! Of all the Disciples, only Peter answered... YOU ARE THE CHRIST THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. It is upon this revelation, given to man directly from the Father Himself, that the Church of Christ is built.... This truth is the foundation upon which YOU AND I, the Church of Christ, is built...and verses 18 and 19 give US the result of this Revelation in OUR Lives... ..and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give YOU the keys of the Kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Jesus Christ is giving us Authority over all the power of the enemy, and Luke 10:19 adds... AND NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT YOU. Amen and Amen...so-be-it...in Jesus Name...AMEN!!! Bless You
