OUR NO FAIL SUGAR COOKIES Rolling Pin, Cookie Cutters, Wax Paper, and Cookie Pans 3 cups flour 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/4 cups of crisco 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 3 tablespoons milk Sift all ingredients together. Work in crisco as you would for a pie crust. Beat eggs, milk, and vanilla together add and mix well. Chill dough if wanted makes a little easier to roll out. Bake at 350 until lightly browned. The longer you bake the crispier. Usually about 8 minutes give or take. The thicker the dough the cookies will stay soft. I dont like mine to get crispy so do a test with a sample cookie and let it cool and see if that is the way you want them to be textured. If cookie is too crunchy cut back on the cooking time. Remove cookies from the pan immediately as it will continue to bake on the sheet. Frosting 3/4 stick of margarine add a teaspoon of vanilla powdered sugar little milk makes about 3 to 4 cups
