OUR PRAYERS UNTO THE LORD IN CHRIST O PRECIOUS LORD, ABBA, FATHER, YOU ALONE, OUR HEART DESIRE, AND WE LONG TO WORSHIP YOU; O LORD JESUS, MASTER, YOU ALONE, OUR STRENGTH AND OUR SHIELD, TO YOU ALONE OUR SPIRIT YIELD, AND YOU ARE OUR FRIEND AND YOU ARE OUR BROTHER, EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE OUR SOVEREIGN KING; WHO ARE WE IN HEAVEN BUT YOU OUR LORD AND OUR GOD, FOR WE LONG TO BEHOLD YOUR GLORY AND THE BEAUTY OF YOUR HOLINESS; O LORD, JESUS, YOU ARE WORTHY OF ALL PRAISE AND ADORATION FOR YOURS IS THE KINGDOM, THE POWER AND THE GLORY FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN, AMEN. As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants ( audible sound of the agony of thirst ) my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? (Psalms 42:1, 2 NKJV) DOUBLE PORTION And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.” So he said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so. ” Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces. (II Kings 2:9-12 NKJV) Abba, Father, Lord of heaven and earth; We pray earnestly O Lord, let a double portion of Your Spirit be upon us this day, And let Your servants do according to Your Will Father, to preach the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ to the Poor and needy to draw them to Your Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our Sovereign Saviour, O Lord, let the Anointing of the Holy Spirit be pour upon Your servants for the salvation of souls through Christ Jesus, our King and Lord, and let Your servants take counsel from the Spirit of God in all matters of life for we received by faith in the Son of God through the Sovereign and Compassionate Name of The Lord Jesus Christ, amen, amen.
