OUR PURPOSE ON FACEBOOK We are taking a moment today to express our ministry’s views regarding the use of Facebook and social media. We believe Facebook should always be used to edify and express Christian love and that comments should be kept positive. Unfortunately, too many people use social media as an easy opportunity to say the most unkind and inappropriate things, all in the name of Christianity. Our ministry page is designed for the sole purpose of ministering to those who enjoy the ministry of One Voice Ministries, and we will not allow it to be used as a place to share negative comments, debate Bible doctrine, or share disagreements about our ministry or any other ministry or person. We want it to be a place where people can come and receive the Word of God in a positive way without the presence of negative opinions. In that effort, our ministry does not contest or debate viewpoints on Facebook at any time. There are many people who visit this page who are in deep need of an encouraging word. It simply isn’t fair that they should have to try and receive what they are looking for amidst debate and negativity. We realize views will vary, and one may not agree with all of our posts, but in consideration of others who may enjoy that particular post we would ask that everyone visiting our page refrain from making negative or disagreeable comments. We would also ask that everyone speak about their fellow believers, other ministries and people in general in a kind and supportive manner. Please understand that we will delete any comments we feel are not in good taste, are negative or inappropriate, or are not in keeping with our purpose for having this Facebook page. We will also ban users who persist in posting inappropriate language or content, or who post unkind or hateful comments or links. We believe that if one disagrees, or does not like our content, then they have the option to stop visiting or “unlike” the page and choose to view another page. We thank you for your support and understanding of our purpose in ministry on Facebook. God bless, Hank and Brenda
