OUR RACE RELAY HOLIDAY WISH FOR YOU: As we experience this Holiday Season, we want to thank you for being a participant in our RACE RELAY Saturday gatherings, and in our ongoing work of creating a healing process to combat racism. Our next discussion gathering at the Mayme Clayton Library will be Sat., January 10th, where we anticipate a renewed spirit, and look forward to welcoming you and others back to continue the conversation. We write this with a heavy heart after recently learning of the Pakistan school shooting that included the massacre of 132 children. With so many problematic events in the world, it is often discouraging to move forward in action. However, the youth of Ferguson are taking up the charge, and, like the youth of so many progressive movements, give us hope to move toward the future, in faith. In that spirit, we look forward to the upcoming year, and wish you the very best to come in 2015.
