OUR SOURCE OF PROSPERITY Nehemiah 2:20 ‘So I answered them and said to them, The God of Heaven Himself will prosper us.’ My precious friends in Christ, the enemies of Nehemiah speak negative words over the work that Nehemiah is about to commence. Nehemiah instead of being pushed down responds with words of power and faith saying the Lord Himself will prosper his work. Yes beloved friends, our source for prosperity is the Lord Himself. We do not rely on people to get us promoted nor do we rely on money, connections, influence, wealth or family background to get us forward in life. Instead as Psalm 121:2 says ‘My help comes from the Lord who made Heaven and earth.’ Yes beloved when the Lord does something as Ecclesiastes 3:14 says ‘I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever.’ Yes when the Lord prospers you, no person on earth can take it away from you, because the Lord will be your shield and protection. 2 Timothy 4:18 ‘and the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His Heavenly Kingdom.’ So today beloved do not look to earthly sources to get you forward in life because all earthly sources are temporary and cannot be trusted. But lean on the Lord and trust only in Him and He will bless you with an everlasting blessing that will only bring joy and peace into your life. Proverbs 10:22 ‘The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.’ God bless you – Romesh Daniels.
