OUT AND ABOUT: Went between two gigs over the course of the night - Frank Catalano & Jimmy Chamberlin @ Martyrs and The George Freeman/Mike Allemana Organ 4tet featuring Bernard Purdie on drums @ The Green Mill! It was quite the evening. Vics supplied a kit complete with cymbals and hardware for Jimmy Chamberlin, as well as a set of cymbals for Bernard Purdie. We definitely proved you really can be in two places at one time. Wilcos Glenn Kotche and New York City based drummer, percussionist, vocalist and songwriter Greg Wieczorek (aka G. Wiz) were also in tow. G. Wiz happened to be in town recording while on a break from touring with Norah Jones. Fun was had by all!!
