** OVERLOOKED ** Heres heartbreaking Bonnie. They already killed her mate, Clyde, whom the volunteers were all advocating for. frown emoticon Please save this sweet girl who has been @ the Manhattan NY Shelter since NOVEMBER of 2014. A volunteer writes: Bonnie came to us with Clyde, a nice pair of family dogs who were found as strays. Bonnie is is dressed in a well groomed and shiny marble cake coat. She owns gentle and naive eyes. Bonnie is calm in her kennel and looks so much like a pooch who goes with the flow. She is, as I expected , leashed easily and walks by my side like a well behaved girl. She eliminates in the street and not in the yard. No disappointment with Bonnie. She is just as good and even better than I thought. She comes when called, sits on command, appreciates very much my treats and poses her head in my lap for caresses. She is as sweet as pie and seems to believe that we, humans are as giving as G-- descended on earth. No wonder that she was given the name Bonnie and that she aced like a star, her behavioral evaluation. Bonnie is a lovely female we have at the Manhattan Care Center. She will make a very pleasant, affectionate and well-mannered forever companion, a tender friend and dedicated confident. Do not make her wait too long.
