OZARK AL: FOUND DOG - LITERALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF HWY 231 RIGHT NEAR HWY. 18 was dodging traffic as I rode by and when I opened my door he climbed in my drivers side floorboard!!!! .... talked with the two houses that he was found near and neither had ever seen him before. Male bulldog, white with black spots. No identification. Filthy and flearidden, with such bad fleas that his fur is stained from flea dirt even after 3 WASHES. Not attaching pics yet as we will not release this dog to anyone without of ownership. Owner must provide proof of ownership, dog has an obvious and distinct feature that his owner should be able to easily identify him by. Will keep him safe the length of time required by law then will begin to try to find home or rescue (finding out how long that is tomorrow but I believe its 7 days).
