Obama: Hey! We love controlling Trident, and operating many of your oil platforms! Dont rock the boat Scotland, things are good for us! Its interesting how all Downing Street has to do is write a letter to these international heads of state and they all suddenly stand up and say what a shame itd be if Scotland started determining its own laws and controlling its own assets. So if Obama thinks staying in a union with the UK is such a fantastic idea, then i expect well see him protesting, not celebrating, the USAs independence this July the fourth? Though i suppose it is pretty easy for someone who has never lived in Scotland and never intends to live here to make such a sweeping statement about how great it is for us to stay in the UK. I mean, he clearly knows all about it, which is why he was being asked about it in the first place, no? You know, one would think that if Scotland is such a drain on the UK treasury, they would be happy to get rid of us, especially in these times of economic crisis, rather than clawing feebly at every last straw to try to scare us into submission prior to the referendum.
